So the government has launched the scheme named as “Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Yojana”. Under this scheme the medicines can get in affordable prices. In this scheme Department of pharmaceutical has took step forward for the scheme launched by pradhan mantri.
This schrme will provide benefits for the people as well as the dealers of the medicines. This scheme will improve affordability as well as the quality of the drugs which is beneficial for all. For this scheme Jan Aushadhi stores will open. These stores will open to provide generic medicines.
Generic Medicines Meaning
Generic medicines are the medicines which are manufactured as the same brand name which re alredy exists in the market. And they are also having same strength, effectiveness as that of branded medicines. But they are available in lesser price then branded medicines.
Jan Aushidhi Stores- Eligibility Criteria
Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushidhi stores can be opened by any non government organization, charitable trust, pharmamcists or doctor.
Medicines worth Rs. 50,000 will provide for the Sc, ST or handicapped citizen who wants to open jan aushadhi store.
One should have PAN card or Aadhar card who wants to open store.
If any NGO or charitable trust willing to open the Jan Aushadi Store then they should have pan CARD OR Registration certificate.
The candidate should have 10 square metre area to open store.
Government Support For Open Store
The dealer can earn up to 15% profit on the MRP of the medicines.
Government wiil provide financial help of Rs. Two lakhs for intiatiation.
The dealer will get 10 percent incentive of his sale and get Rs. 10000 per month.
In northeastern States and tribial states the daeler will get 15 percent incentives of his sale as well as Rs. 15000 per month.
Apply Online – Jan Aushadhi Yojana
Following steps to open jan aushadhi store which are:
Open the official website for Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Yojana. Website is http://janaushadhi.gov.in/.
Click on the link “Application Form”. This link will take you to the different catagories of store openers. From given links you can choose online or offline method for the opening store.
In online Method
Click on “Apply online” link.
Enter Your username and password there and after that enter captcha you will enter the required details like aadhar card or PAN card Number etc.
Enter mobile number which is linked to your aadhar card otherwise your number will be verified with your aadhar card.
An OTP will be sent to your moble number then after confirmation application form will be open.
After submission of the form, BPPI registration is required which is charged RS. 2000.
After registration for the drug license aplly in state drug authority or chief medical office.
After getting license the it should uploaded on [email protected].
After uploading the license the dealer can order the medicine to distributor through online health portal.
In Offline Method
The candidate can download form take print out of the form and then fill it and submit to the BPPI office . And follows the steps further.
