DDA is offering new housing scheme, opportunity to buy 12000 flat

Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is going to launch a housing scheme of new 12,000 flats soon. DDA has completed all the formalities for this and the proposal has been forwarded to the lieutenant governor for its approval. Most of the flats are situtated in Rohini, Dwarka, Narela, Vasant Kunj and Jasola.

There are 10 thousand flat left from 2014 year scheme. The remaining flats are another empty flat. Authorities has told that we have completed all the formalities on our behalf and this proposal has been sent to the lieutenant governor for final approval.

That’s why we are waiting for the answer from another side. If the lieutenant governor asks or recommend for some changes, then we will implement those otherwise the whole scheme will remain the same and continue as it is. Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Anil Baijal is also Chairman of DDA. Home application forms will be available both in both mode i.e. online and offline.

Agreement with Ten Banks

DDA has tied up with 10 banks for the sale of applications and scheme related any kind of transactions. One os the senior DDA officer has said that We were already connected to this with eight banks, but this time two new banks also has been added and that are ICICI and Canara Bank.

The banks which are already linked are as Axis Bank, Yes Bank, IDBI Bank, Bank of Baroda, Central Bank, SBI, Kotak Mahindra and HDFC Bank. This scheme was supposed to be released in the starting of February month but due to lack of infra work, this could not be happen.

Registration fee will be seized on flat surrender

Registration fees will be seized if you do not take the allotted flat. One of the senior officers has said that At this time DDA wants that only real needy people apply for home. He said, “Therefore, we have brought a new provision for the people who do not take the flat after the name comes in the list. This means that if the purchaser later surrenders flat or not take it, then by seeing the nature of flat it will be seized for registration fees of 1 or 2 lakhs.

Both husband and wife can apply in the scheme

Under this DDA flat scheme, both husband and wife can apply, but if both are allotted flat then one of them will have to leave the flat. Sources said that most flat are one bedroom LIG (Lower Income Group) type. These are the previous housing schemes flat which are left empty and no new flat offers will be offered this year.

Registration fee for the Housing scheme

Next comes in our mind is how much will be the registration fee for the current housing scheme. LIG registration fee will be 1 lakh rupees. DDA senior officer has said that near about 10,000 flats are previous DDA schemes of the year 2014.

Like the previous scheme, EWS (Economically Week category) category is not followed this year. Registration fee for LIG category is 1 lakh and registration fee for MIG and HIG is 2 lakh rupees.
