Modi government is constantly making new efforts to promote and make new resources of employment in the rural part of the country and to stop migrations towards city and town. For this, the government is running many schemes including Rural Housing Scheme, Rural Road Scheme etc. a lot.

Now the central government is coming up with a scheme, with which you can earn up to Rs.9000 every month, while staying in your own village. Through the help of this scheme, the Modi government is trying to empower rural areas. Under this, the government will not only promote public transport in the villages but will also provide necessary support from the government to promote employment with in your home area.
Modi Government New Employment Scheme
Regarding this scheme, Union Rural Development Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has said that this scheme will work to bring new revolution in rural areas. This will not only help in strengthening public transport in the villages, but it will also generate employment at large scale.
What is this scheme? How long will it apply and how one can make income up to Rs 9000 every month through the help of it.
Making of new road work in rural areas is going on fast way. On the lines of the Prime Minister’s Gram Sadak Yojana, the government is now bringing new scheme called as ‘Pradhan Mantri Gram Parivahan Yojana’ (प्रधानमंत्री ग्राम परिवहन योजना). Under this scheme, the government will provide an interest free loan to buy small commercial vehicles.
This loan will be given to Women’s Self Help Groups. This scheme will be implemented on August 15. Through this scheme, the government wants to create employment opportunities for women and others as well as promoting public transport.
Support To Buy These Vehicle
Central Union Minister for Development Narendra Singh Tomar has said that most of the rural parts have already been connected with roads and constructed fully. Therefore, the government’s focus is to provide better public transport here so that the gap between the village and the city can be reduced.
According to Rural Development Ministry sources, the government will give interest free loans for at least 1500 commercial vehicles. The seating capacity of these vehicles will be 10 people.
According to the sources, this scheme will be initially run in 250 blocks of the country. After that it will be started in other rural parts of the country.
How Much Loan Will Be Provided
The news agency PTI, quoting sources of the Rural Development Ministry, said that the government will give an interest free loan at an amount of up to Rs 6 lakh. Under this scheme, government will choose self-help groups of women to provide interest free loans. Later, the government can also include others citizen under this scheme.
The interest free loans which will be provided in support from government side must be returned with in time period of 6 months.
When Will Income Reached Rs.9000 Per Month
Sources said that once the loan installment will be filled in fully manner, then one person can earn 6000 to 9000 rupees every month. The government had conducted a survey in Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh to check the feasibility of the scheme. According to this survey, 10-12 seater commercial vehicles will be best for promoting public transport in rural areas.
The government wants to keep the connectivity of 20-22 km under this scheme. And it is planned to add 10 to 14 small villages together for better communication between them with this scheme.
