Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana
Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana is a facility provided by pharmaceuticals department of Indian Government. This scheme is started to distribute low rate medicine of better quality via special Kendra called as Jan Aushadhi Kendra. These Kendra has been set up to give generic drugs at lower rate and act as similar to branded medicine.
Generic Medicine
Unbranded medicines are known as generic medicine which works same like branded one and used as safely and effectively like others. But the rate of generic medicine is lower than as compared to branded one.
BPPI
BPPI stands for Bureau of Pharma Public Sector Undertakings of India and has been formed under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India. And this is responsible for supply and marketing of such medicine under Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendra (PMBJK).

At the beginning of opening of 20% commission and public drug center, those youth will be given assistance of 2.5 lakh rupees. During a press conference in Dharamsala, Mansukh Mandviya said that for the hill state like Himachal Pradesh, the central government has sanctioned nearly 20 thousand crore to construct 4300 km of NH.
The Union Minister said that the Modi government has not imposed any new tax during the last three years. The central government has succeeded in foreign policy. 534 stores of generic drugs have been opened in the country.
He described GST as an important step for the security of the country. After this the Union Minister has taken part in the seminar organized on the achievements of the three years of the Modi government near Police Ground and targets the Virbhadra Government.
Mansukh said that the Modi government has worked with everyone under development. Virbhadra Government spoiled Himachal’s name throughout the world without corruption. BJP will give Himachal a clean image government.
How To Open Jan Aushadhi Store
The procedure for opening Jan Aushadhi Kendra is described as follows. When you submit your request for Jan Aushadhi Store then BPPI will forward your request to the state government to open such kind of kednra in their state under PMBJK.
Then the health department of respective state will make recommendation against your application and also give instructions to authority of district hospital to give required space within hospital campus as per BPPI standard. The location of such centre is located at the place where OPD patients can get their required medicine easily. Also doctors are instructed to prescribe generic medicine to patients.
Incentive Amount Provided To Pradhan Matri Jan Aushadhi Kendra Owner
Starting amount of 2.5 lakh is provided by government. Then 1 lakh to built and buy furniture. And Rs. 0.50 lakh for internet, computer, scanner, printer etc and another 1 lakh to buy medicine.
